Alan Koffler, age 74, of Myrtle Beach, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2021 in his home.  Alan was born on June 2, 1947 in New York City to the late Harold Koffler and Beatrice.  He was raised in the Bronx, New York.

Alan will best be remembered for his generous spirit and thoughtfulness.  He was a very gentle and loving man deeply dedicated to his family and friends and always eager to provide a helping hand.  Alan worked for SuperValu as the director of military sales until his retirement when he relocated from Old Orchard Beach, Maine to South Myrtle Beach and pursued a career in the timeshare industry for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father Harold Koffler, by his mother and step-father, Beatrice and Jack Rubenstein and his brother, Barry Koffler.

Alan is survived and remembered by his loving wife, Angela whom they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October this year. He is also survived by his son Peter Koffler and his wife Cristy of Saco, Maine, his son Harold Koffler and wife Lisa of Surfside Beach, his nephew Jonathan Koffler of New Jersey and grandchildren Emily, Abby, Ian and Hope.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held at a later date.
