On Wednesday, November 26, 2020 Andrew Darby, loving husband and father of four children, brother, and uncle passed away at 69 at New Hanover Hospital in Wilmington, NC.

Andrew was born on May 26, 1951  to Angelina Mantis and James Darby. He graduated Yorktown High School in 1969. On May 6, 1982 he married Theresa Darby in Yorktown Heights, NY. In 1984 they bought farm land in Salisbury Center, NY and lived growing vegetables and raising pigs. They raised three daughters, Tiffany, Colleen and Victoria.

Andrew had a passion for horse racing and enjoyed spending many Sundays at Saratoga Race Track. He retired from farm life in 2015 where he went to spend some time with his daughters in Colorado and Myrtle beach, SC.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, James, mother, Angelina, step father, Joseph and daughter Gale. He is survived by his wife Theresa, his three daughters Tiffany, Colleen, Victoria and husband Spencer, his brother Joseph, his sisters Joann and Monica, 5 grandchildren: Edward and Shannon Horning, Silas Darby, Aaron and Aidan Corey and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID there will not be a funeral at this time but a celebration of life will take place at a later time and will be announced by the family.
