Ann Veit passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on her 92nd Birthday February 28, 2020. She was born in Manhattan, NY on February 28, 1928 to the late John and Julia Vetrano. She lived in Manhattan, N.Y. for many years and then moved to Brooklyn, N.Y. In 1963 she moved to West Haverstraw, N.Y. She moved to Hawaii in 1983 and then moved to Suffern, NY in 1985. Ann moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. in January 2018. She married the love her life Richard Veit on October 5, 1948. She spent her life caring for her family as a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Ann was a devout Catholic who went to Church every Sunday. Her favorite thing to do was to cook for everyone which gave her so much pleasure. Ann is survived by her son Patrick Veit (Nani), two daughters, Julia Antonini (Michael) and Mary Ellen Hendriksen and also four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son, John Veit on January 17, 1979 and her husband Richard Veit on June 14, 2008. There will be a Funeral Mass said for her at Saint Michael's Catholic Church, 542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Mass Cards would be greatly appreciated.
