Arthur Laverne Edge's Obituary
Arthur Laverne Edge, 75, of Conway, SC passed away on June 4th, 2017.
Arthur was born on May 18th, 1942 in Conway, SC a son to the late Daniel Dozier and Arie (Hardee) Edge.
In life, Arthur served honorably in the US Navy for 22 years. He worked as a substitute school teacher, volunteered at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm, was a member at Thee Baptist Worship Center and was a devout Christian.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife Lois, sons Billy Edge, Joe Edge, Ronnie Edge, Kevin Edge, Danny Edge and Tommy Keys, daughter Jennifer Cooper, sister Arlain Hill, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 8th at 2:00 PM at Thee Baptist Worship Center at 1137 Hwy 90 in Conway. Visitation will begin at the church at 1:00 PM with a gathering following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
