Bruce Adams, 83, of Darlington, SC, passed away on June 22, 2023, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Bruce was a master electrician and builder who owned and operated his own electrical contracting business, Adams Construction Company, located in Schwenksville, PA.

Bruce was born on June 30, 1939, in Darlington, SC, to the late Henry and Eva Adams. He graduated from St. John's High School  where he was a member of the marching band and played the saxophone. Bruce was a strong and independent man who took great pride in his work and always put his family first.

Bruce was a loving provider to his wife, Peggy, and his daughters, Nan Priest and Dorothy Blythe. He enjoyed spending time with his family members, including his grandchildren, Benjamin Hefele (and Cathy) , Jacob Hefele (and Natasha), Margaret Priest, Carly Blythe (and John Theisen), David Blythe, Ian and Zack Treger.

During retirement, Bruce enjoyed completing Sudoku puzzles, watching NASCAR races, maintaining a beautiful lawn and enjoying coffee each morning with his friends in the community.

Bruce was a member of the Belin Memorial United Methodist Church in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Bruce is survived by his daughters (and Timothy Priest and Doug Treger), grandchildren, and brothers, James Adams (and Barbara), Quay Adams (and Mildred), Michael Adams (and Sarah) and sisters-in-law, Martha Adams and Patricia Bateman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret McLendon Adams, and his brother, William Adams.

A service will be held in his memory on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00am at the Belin Memorial United Methodist Church, 4182 Highway 17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC.  The service will be live streamed from https://www.belinumc.org/.
