Carl Alexander Litz's Obituary
Carl Alexander Litz, 87, of Conway, SC passed away at his home on September 20th, 2017.
Carl was born September 5th, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, a son to the late Fred and Lena Litz. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lena, his brother, Fred Litz Jr. andtwo sisters Ellen Conway and Ann Falter.
In life, Carl proudly served in the U.S. Army. He worked as an automotive mechanic and was also a lifetime member of the VFW. Carl enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved classic cars and NASCAR.
He is survived by a large and loving family, including his son, Carl Litz Jr., daughter Sherri Spadacenta (Paul), and 11 grandchildren; Paulie, Big Dave, Rachel, Little Dave, Forrestt, Jason, Nick, Paige, Derrick, Jayson and Hannah.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of InCare Hospice for their kindness and care, especially his nurses Brenda and Kelly.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Conway, SC and Guilford, CT. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local hospice organization.
