Charles Clark Jones Jr., 57, of Surfside Beach, SC died Wednesday, March 31. He was born in Fayetteville, NC, and was the son of the late Charles C. Jones Sr. and O'Neal Jones Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his father and his sister, Sara Jones Kashner of Surfside Beach.

Surviving are his children, Charles Clark Jones III and Heather Alicia Jones, both of Oakboro, NC, his mother, O'Neal Johnson of Surfside Beach, and his sister Jenny Jones Warden of Myrtle Beach.

Clark was a long-time employee at Waffle House who liked fishing, the water, and racing. He sometimes displayed a gruff exterior but would help someone in need without hesitation. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 22 at 5:00 PM at Palmetto Shores Church (at the swing bridge) 6250 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach, SC. There will be fellowship and refreshments following the service.
