Charlie Bud Welch, 85, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on December 1st, 2016.
He was born May 28th, 1931 in Florence, SC, a son to the late Major and Myrtle Welch. Charlie was predeceased by his parents and one daughter, Teresa.
In life, Charlie worked as a commercial and residential well driller. He was a a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Charlie was a member of the VFW and American Legion, Murrells Inlet SC Chapter. He also served several years in the Marine Corps and received five certificates for service and was recognized for going above and beyond the call of duty.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Welch, his children Sharal, Robert, Marie and Mike, stepchildren Willie Ann, Priscilla, Joan, Myra and Joey Murrow, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing with family will be held graveside at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 3rd with service following at 11:00 AM at the Florence Memorial Gardens at 3320 S. Cashua Drive, Florence, SC 29501.
