Mr. Daniel Leo Halfpenny, 78, husband of Sarah Catherine Halfpenny (nee Brooks), passed away after a short illness on September 6, 2024.
Born July 11, 1946 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Clarence Robert Halfpenny and the late Fortunee Bazzanti.

Dan's sister taught him how to dance and that played a key role in his meeting Kathy. Dan enjoyed horseshoes and was an avid poker player with his brothers-in-law. He was a member of several bowling leagues for many years in Maryland and had a perfect 300 game. Dan's love of golf filled much of his retirement years. He achieved a hole-in-one at the Barefoot Golf Course. He was a member of the Hackler Golf Course and often played 3 times a week with the Hillsborough group. He was also a participant in the annual September VFW golf tournament.
