David Allen VanDuser, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away peacefully in his home on March 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and a dry sense of humor.

Dave was born in Newburg, New York, and made his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where he worked for many years for Thomas Supply as a store manager.  He was well liked and respected by his coworkers, and the contractors and community members who frequented his store.

He was predeceased by his father, David Allen VanDuser.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Missy VanDuser, Myrtle Beach, SC, stepchildren, Justin, Taylor, and Brandon Clayton, all of Syracuse, NY, sister, Cathy Newcomer (Ray Tinsman), Conway, SC, nephew, Brandon Harrison, Murrells Inlet, SC, mother, Sharyn VanDuser, stepmother, Patti VanDuser, as well as many other family members and friends.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Crescent Hospice for the care provided to Dave during his final days at home.

A memorial gathering will be held at Grand Strand Funeral Home at 9020 Highway 17 Bypass, in Murrells Inlet on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
