Duane Alan Schulz

Duane Schulz was born in Chicago, IL where he grew up and spent his early adulthood. He relocated to Myrtle Beach in 1994 and called the Socastee area home from that point on. He was a master carpenter by trade and worked on construction sites and various woodworking projects all across the Grand Strand. Duane was a fun-loving guy who loved rock and roll, had a passion for cooking and was an avid collector of all things collectible. His favorite local pastime was bowling in league competition at Surfside Bowling Alley with his team, The Turkey Bombers. Duane is survived by his mother, Marilyn McMahen, his two children, Kayla Dawn Schulz and Deven Arik Schulz, brother, Raymond G Lees (Lisa) and sister Laura M Bradley (Clyde). A memorial service will be held in Duane's memory at Parkway Community Baptist Church, 118 Leisure Lane, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588 on Saturday, Aug 12 at 2:00 pm.
