Earl Wilson Laws, Sr. of 4254 Hartland Road, Lenoir NC 28645 and 1492 Abberbury Drive, Conway, SC went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by family.

Earl was born, February 25th, 1951 in Caldwell county, NC to the late Pearl Fayetine Moore Cannon and Oscar Lee Laws. In addition, to both his parents he is preceded in death by his stepfather Ivey Gene Cannon, Sr. and grandson Joshua Andrew Joplin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Debbie C. Laws, two daughters Lori A. Joplin and Summer M. Pack, two sons Earl Wilson Laws, Jr. and Tony A. Sanders, three brothers, Jim Laws and spouse, Lawrence Duke Laws, Ivey Cannon, II, two sisters Pearlie Williams and Patty Vines, nine grandchildren, Jessica, Katie and Benjamin Joplin, Cloey Deal, Asher Pack, Tristin and Keilla Sanders, and Trena and Rhea Marade.

From a young age, Earl found a love for playing golf and was an avid golfer. You could find him on the greens at least two – three days a week. He also enjoyed watching golf on tv, going fishing, camping, taking the boat out on the lake, bowling with his buddies in SC, playing Putt-Putt with his family and travelling all over the globe with his wife.

Earl was a magnetic character with a large heart. He was always willing to offer help in any way he could. He had many friends in both Lenoir, NC and Conway, SC and was well liked by all. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Due to the current pandemic, a celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date.
