Eddie Dean Todd was born August 8th, 1954, to the union of Eugene David Todd and Lucille Thelma (Stevens) Todd, in Loris, South Carolina. Eddie was an Horry County native and during his life, resided with his Wife, Mary Katherine (Mishoe) Todd, in Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas. In his younger years, Eddie attended Myrtle Beach High school. He enjoyed running track, roller skating, boating and fast cars.

Eddie was a painter by trade but found the most joy, being surrounded by his family and friends. To Eddie, the perfect getaway was camping riverside, with his Wife, Mary, their dogs (his favorite children) splashing in the water and generations of loved ones, gathered around a camp fire. Later in life, Eddie traded the speed boats and fast cars for golf carts and fishing poles. You'd often find him by the pond with a golf cart full of grand-babies.

Eddie Todd departed this life on earth, December 10th, 2020. Eddie was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, his daughter Edgwina, his son Dustin, his brothers: Alan, Steve and Joey, his granddaughter Hunter and grandson Ryan.

Eddie leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Todd, his sister Kandi, his children Amie, Mandy, Aaron, Chad and Brittney, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, along with many friends and extended family. Eddie was loved dearly and will be profoundly missed.


Services will be held Saturday, January 2nd, 2021. There will be a graveside memorial followed by a celebration of life. The time and location will be published on Mary Todd's Facebook page on Friday December 18, 2020.
