Edward James Shadder (83) passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2025. He was born May 1, 1941 to the late Albert and Catherine Shadder in Hazleton, PA.

Edward enlisted in the Army in 1957 and proudly served for 6 years. He was also an original member of The VFW Post 10240. This is where he met his wife of 34 years and love of his life, Betty Lee Shadder.

Edward lost Betty in 2023. He was a dedicated and loving husband to Betty.

His predeceased siblings include Jule Ann and Catherine. "Ed" also suffered the unimaginable loss of his son Edward J. Shadder Jr. in May of 2021. Surviving siblings include Albert and John.

Other surviving family members are his daughter Patricia as well as three step-daughters Randi, Kelly, and Kim. He had six grandchildren; Alex, Brandon, Brena, Charlie, Aiden, and Cape. Also 15 nieces and nephews.
