Emma E. Stone, 85, of Myrtle Beach, passed away on September 28, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.

Emma was born on March 17, 1938 in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Albert Price and Emma Dengler Price.

Emma is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Karl G. Stone.  She is also survived by their daughters Susan Rigler (James) of Marlton, NJ and Brenda Linz (Brian) of Boise, ID.  Emma was predeceased by her daughter Charlene Plants of Morgantown, WV.

Emma was also the proud grandmother of five grandchildren:  Rebecca Plants Loney, Patrick Plants, Megan Lindsley (Bryan), Jimmy Rigler (Alex), and Staff Sgt. Sean P. Murnighan.  She was blessed with four great-grandchildren:  Jackson Loney, Addison Loney, Morgan Lindsley and Atlas Lindsley.

She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Alberta and William Walker and two nieces, Leslie and Gwen.

Emma spent her career working for RCA and Lockhead Martin, retiring in 1994.  After retirement, Emma and Karl moved to Conway, SC enjoying their retirement years playing golf with their friends and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved to knit and cross-stitch and gifted many of her friends and family with her beautiful creations.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11am at Grand Strand Funeral Home and Crematory in Murrells Inlet, SC.
