In memoriam, Franklin Lewis Hughes
December 2, 1960 - June 28, 2023

On the morning of June 28th this earth acknowledged the loss of Franklin Lewis "Frank Dog" Hughes, aged 62. Franklin was predeceased by his father and mother, L.S. and Doris Hughes, his brother, Michael Hughes, and his sisters, Patricia Hatley, Carolyn Altman-Hilburn, and Charlotte Kay Sanders.

Frank was a loving brother. He was a wonderful uncle and a loyal friend. A one-of-a-kind personality, those that were close to him will always remember his snickering laugh, his slap on the back, and his fantastic sense of humor. He was a hard worker all of his life and was gifted in woodwork and carpentry. Always with a genuine heart, he was forever willing to put his skills to use for friends or family in need. He was an artist with a talent for drawing blueprints in his youth and he always looked after his mama. Frank was free-spirited, original, honest, caring, genuine, and truly cool...and "they just don't make 'em like they used to".

He will be missed by so many.

A memorial "potluck block party" will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 19th at 3:00 p.m at "Peanut's" house. All are welcome to attend.
