George E. Kesler's Obituary
George E. Kesler, 91, of Georgetown, SC died on January 7th, 2017.
George was born in Ohio on April 23rd, 1925.
In life, George served honorably in the armed forces and served during World War II. He was elected mayor of Sharpsburg, Maryland, volunteered for and was president of the fire department, visited the Antietam Battlefield, owned a general store and had a large and loving family.
George was married twice and loved and cared for both his wives, one for over 50 years and another for almost 10 years.
He was a hardworking and dedicated man who loved woodworking, camping and boating.
George is survived by his grandson, Ray Jansson, of Pawley's Island, SC.
May he rest in peace.
