Gertrude Ethel Phillips (aka Slim) born on November 21, 1928 and past away on
January 12, 2018.

She was married for 57 years to William Joseph Phillips (aka wild willie) who past away
February 18, 2008. She is survived by her 4 children Jimmy, Jeffrey, Judy and Jayne as
well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Gertrude loved figure skating, the Griswold movies, cinnamon raisin bread and Disneyland.
She will be remembered as the matriarch that held the Phillips family together.

She was always dressed to the nines with hair and makeup done even when she had nowhere to go.
She taught us all how to play progressive rummy, then forgot herself how to play progressive rummy.

But she never forgot how to make her kick ass potato salad.

Gertrude will be missed dearly but we know her and grandpa are finally together again looking
down on us from Heaven.
