Harry Oscar Causey, age 75, of Conway, South Carolina left us peacefully on June 26th, surrounded by family at the home of his daughter, Heather, where he resided. A beloved father, brother, and friend to many, Harry will always be remembered for his kind heart and willingness to help others. He was a graduate of Conway High School class of 1970 and served 6 years in the Army Reserves. Harry loved spending time with his family, go-kart racing, 4-wheeling, camping, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He was the owner of Harry and Son Construction where his love of craftmanship was shared throughout the community.

Born on February 1,1950 in Conway, SC, a son of the late Oscar and Maude Martin Causey. In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by his five brothers, Wendell, Don, Dermie, Clem, and Kemp, one sister, Winifred C. Johnson, and two brother in laws, Richard Vargas and Bobby Richardson.

Surviving are his children Heath Causey (Carl) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Heather Brindle (Michael) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jordan Causey of Nashville, TN and Anna Causey (Matthew) of Myrtle Beach, SC; three sisters, Mildred Vargas of Charleston, SC, Wilma Sellers (Bobby) of Conway, SC, Sara Richardson of Conway, SC, and one brother, Ricky Causey (Tina) of Myrtle Beach, SC. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Harry.

A Memorial Service honoring Harry's life will be held at Bethany Bible Chapel in Conway, SC on Friday July 18th. The family will receive friends from 11am – 12:45pm followed by the service at 1:00pm.

Harry's warmth and kindness touched countless lives and he will be profoundly missed.
