Helen Hottle-Crain, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 at the age of 76 in Brunswick County, NC.

Born in Washington, DC on March 15, 1949 to Photius J. (Frank) Perrus and Virginia L. (Romans) Perrus will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and strength.  She dedicated her life to her family and friends, always there with a listening ear and warmth embrace.

She is survived by children; Sandy Seiders, Gary Hottle, Jr and Virginia Jackson; Brothers James Perrus and Steve Martin; Sister Christina (Perrus) Beaulieu; Former spouse Gary Hottle, Sr and over 60 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by her parents Photius J. (Frank) and Virginia Perrus; Husband Charles (Tex) Crain; Daughter Kristie; Grandson Shawn and Great-granddaughter Brielle.

A celebration of life will take place in May 2026 in Harpers Ferry, WV.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her honor/memory to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warriors.
