Homer O’Dell Jones III, age 66, went home to be with God on April 18th, 2026. Homer grew up in Georgia and ended his journey in Little River, SC.

He was extremely creative and used his talents in many different areas including restoring vintage automobiles and creating enclosures for boats and ships. He never considered his jobs to be work, they were his enjoyment.

Homer loved his family members, friends and fur-babies deeply. He didn’t consider anyone a stranger as everyone he met throughout his life was a new friend.

Homer was a proud Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Jones and stepson Patrick Tucker. Kelly Blissett and Matt Bailey, whom he loved and cherished as sons. There was a special place in his heart for his lifelong friend Connie Campbell. He is also survived by his Mother-in-law Barbara Swanke and Father-in-law Thomas McKeough. Homer is predeceased by his Mother Barbara Jean Bell.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at 2pm at the American Legion, 4285 Pine Dr., Little River, SC 29566. There will be a military honor ceremony outdoors followed by a memorial service indoors.
