Ian William Miller made his transition peacefully on January 26, 2021. He was 52 years old. Ian is survived by his forever love and wife of almost 17 years, Nicole S. Miller, his father Jan William Miller, sisters Elizabeth Boyle and Bridget Miller.
Ian attended McLean High School in McLean, Virginia. Ian was an all-around athlete, he won awards in swimming when he was six, and was a high scorer on his youth soccer and baseball teams. In high school, Ian was the leading scorer on the varsity basketball team and star wide receiver and safety on the varsity football team. After high school, Ian attended University of Kansas and Bellarmine University, earning his undergraduate degree. After completing his undergraduate degree, Ian enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and received several medals and letters of appreciation for his distinguished service. During his time of service Ian provided technical command support to the Presidential Retreat (Camp David) and White House Communications. After serving our country, Ian was honorably discharged. Ian went on to have a successful career as Systems and Sales Engineer and earned an MBA.
Ian will always be remembered for the unselfish love that he showed his wife, his strong work ethic, his huge heart and compassion for others and animals, love of surfing, CrossFit and always striving to be his best self. He truly was a great role model that we all looked up to and will continue to admire. Ian was loved and adored by so many and will be missed tremendously.

Due to COVID, we are unable to plan a memorial however a celebration of life will be announced later.
