James William "Anthony" Causey Jr, 42, of Conway passed away on March 11, 2025 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Anthony was born on June 13, 1982 in Greenwood, SC, son to the late James William Causey Sr. and Carol Gedeist Causey. Anthony grew up in Myrtle Beach where he shared lots of happy family memories with his sister Anna and forged many lifelong friendships he still holds today. He attended Socastee High School where he graduated in 2001, and then went on to study at HGTC. Anthony enjoyed working with the public. He worked many years in the tourism industry at hotels along the Grand Strand. He later landed his dream job of working as a correctional officer at J. Rueben Long, following in his role model's footsteps (his father) in the world of law enforcement. Life had other plans for him and he later worked along side his father in the car business.

Anthony's greatest creations arrived in 2010 and 2012 when his children were born - Grace Madison and Logan Matthew Causey. He was a proud father who was delighted at the young adults his children have grown into.

To know Anthony was to love Anthony. His big goofy smile and contagious laugh could warm the coldest of hearts. He always had the best of intentions and would help anyone and everyone he could - whether it was giving you the shirt off his back or connecting people with one another through the social connections he had built over the years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 PM, on March 29th, 2025 at Sherwood Park in Conway, SC.
