James "Jimmy" Collins passed away April 7, 2018 after battling a prolonged illness. He was born in Myrtle Beach on May 7, 1958 and was the owner of J&R Painting, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Angela, and his cherisheddaughters, Mackenzie and Catherine. He is also survived by his mother, Eva Dell Collins, two brothers, Robert Collins and Jeffrey Collins, a sister, Deborah Jones and special friend Mary Ann Barron. A casual celebration will be held at Christ United Methodist Church at Fantasy Harbor onThursday, April 12, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. The family will greet visitors after the service. In lieu of flowers, Jimmy asked that people make donations to American Cancer Society.
