James (Jim) Hubbard, 57, passed away June 1, 2022 at McCleod Seacoast Hospital following a short battle with cancer. Born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, he was the son of James Russell Hubbard (Memphis, TN) and the late Beverly Chiovitti (Baldwinsville, NY). He grew up in Baldwinsville, NY and attended Charles W. Baker High. Jim lived and worked for many years in Rochester, NY before relocating to Conway, SC to escape the snow and enjoy warmer winters. In 2010, he began helping out at the Theater of the Republic (TOR) in downtown Conway, and found there, not only a new purpose and passion, but an entire additional "family".

In addition to his father, Jim is survived by two brothers, Keith Hubbard (Quinn) of Baldwinsville, NY, and Shane Hubbard (Becky) of Conway;  four sisters, Sandra Friske (John) of Camillus, NY, Cheryl Muroski of Fulton, NY, Jody Mishoe (Jonathan) of Conway, and Shelly Haynes (Barry) of Pawley's Island; two step-sisters, Melody Potter of Myrtle Beach, and Marcia McCracken of Conway; numerous nieces and nephews; his two fur babies, Sophie and Brittney; and his beloved TOR family.
