Mr. James "Jimmy," Owens Jr. passed away unexpectedly at his residence on June 30th, 2023. Mr. Owens was born in Conway S.C. May 13th, 1960, to the late James Owens Sr. and Peggy Owens. He was a loving husband and a friend to many.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Owens was also predeceased by his sister, Susie Owens, and his brother-in-law, Todd Whitesides, who he loved and considered a brother.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle, (aka April) his mother-in-law, Carol Lowrance, father-in-law, Paul Lowrance(Bonnie,) a sister-in-law, Teresa Suggs(Michael,) and numerous nieces and nephews, and several close friends.

He worked for many years in the lighting store owned by his mother, paving his way to becoming an electrician. Jimmy had a passion for traveling, rather it was surfing at beaches, cruising on a cruise ship, or traveling to beautiful Greece. He also enjoyed Nascar and football, but his favorite pastime was relaxing at home with his wife, Michelle, and their beloved cats.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, in lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter.
