James Edward McKenna 85, of Murrells Inlet, SC passed away September 30, 2017.
He was born November 18, 1931 in New York City, a son of the late Edward and Agnes (Reid) McKenna. James was also predeceased by his beloved sister Regina McKenna.
Jameswas a life long gardener, aSpanish and French linguist,and a gentle Christian.
Survivors include his siblingsPatricia (Paul) Butler, Agnes (Robert)Black,Mary (George)Gambeski, Edward (Laureen)McKenna ,Clare Doran; Many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at St.Michael Catholic Church at 1:00pm Thursday October 5,2017 with Inurnment in the Church Columbarium to follow.
