James "Jim" Meyers, 64, of Loris, SC passed away on September 17th, 2016. Originally from Bay City, Michigan, James was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus John Meyers Sr. and Marguerite Claire Calthorpe - Meyers and his brothers Thaddeus John Meyers II, Kenneth Meyers and Barry Meyers.

He is survived by his sisters, Marguerite Meyers (Sister Thaddea), Grace Facil and Geralyn Atkinson, his children James Meyers Jr., Sharon Landacre, Tracy Hernandez, Amy Maxwell, Michelle Siau and Adrienne Bovee, his grandchildren Heather Landacre, Jeffrey Landacre, Gabrielle Silva, Camron Davis, William Davis, Emanuel Davis, Justin McCoy, Breann Wachter, McCann Maxwell, Nathaniel Maxwell, Kayla Kozak, Barry Vance Jr., Laney Siau, Mia Siau, Samantha Bovee, Phoebe Bovee and John Bovee Jr. (Deuce) and one great grandchild, Kah'mya Barr.

Jim was a US Army Veteran andworked as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed doing home repairs and working on cars and was able to fix just about anything. He also enjoyed fishing and was quite the ladiesman. Above all, James loved his children and grandchildren and was a very generous person who would do anything for anyone. He was deeply loved by his family and will be truly missed by many.
