James C. Poe, Jr. went home to be with his beloved wife, Frances on December 22, 2021. Born on January 30, 1938, he was the son of James C. Poe, Sr. and Margaret Holman Poe. He is survived by his daughters Elizabeth "Beth" Poe Holcomb (Jesse), Lisa Poe Davis (Zeb), and Christie Poe King (Mike), as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances S. Poe and son , James C. Poe, III. He was born in Myrtle Beach, SC and was a life long resident of this area. He retired from a long career in graphic design starting with Tyson Sign Co., then Sun Graphics and later doing free-lance work. Together he and his wife devoted their life to loving and raising Arabian horses. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Memorial services will be held at his horse farm at 10199 McDowell Shortcut Rd, Murrells Inlet, SC on January 29, 2022 at 11:00 am.
