Janet Faye Whitehead, 84 passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 17, 2025, at her residence in Garden City, SC with her sons by her side.

Janet was born on October 5th, 1941 in Coalton WV the daughter of the late Fred Gerald DeMotto and Mary Elizabeth DeMotto. She later married the late Thomas Whitehead. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and spending time with her family. She has traveled all around the United States and Canada with her husband accumulating a lifetime of many adventures and memories.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Whitehead, Steven Whitehead and Jeffery Whitehead. Siblings: Mary Jean Brown. Grandchildren: Raven Whitehead, Jeffery Whitehead and Trace Whitehead. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jerry DeMotto, Jimmy DeMotto, Johnny DeMotto.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

In accordance with Janet's wishes cremation has taken place.  A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
