Jean Caroline Gamble Urquhart was born on October 2nd, 1932 at the home of her Aunt Mamie Belle Breland, a daughter of the late Carroll Ellison Gamble Sr. and Genie Mae Hill Gamble.

She was recalled by her Maker on April 3rd, 2017 and has found healing, peace and joy in eternal reunions with those she loved who awaited her, her husband George F. "Scotty" Urquhart, son Andrew "Lee" Urquhart and son-in-law David M. Rokavec.

Jean is survived by her daughters Lorna Mae Purcell (Junior) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Laurie Jean (Robert Gojkovich) of Wall, PA and Curol "Lynne" (David Brown) of Loyalhanna Township, PA and her brother Carroll Ellison Gamble Jr. (Kathleen) of Sacramento, CA, granddaughter Amanda Jean Cecilia Patterson Douglas, grandson Brandon Ray Thomas Patterson, great-grandchildren Kelsey Breanna Korinne Butler, James Douglas II,Madison Paige Douglas, Travis Ray Thomas Patterson and Veronica Lynn Patterson.

She was a certified Engineer and worked with the Union Switch & Signal and Westinghouse. She was also a professional insurance agent, working with her husband and daughters at Urquhart Insurance in Irwin, Pennsylvania.

In the 70's, she worked with her husband in the establishment of volunteer services in her adopted hometown of Irwin/North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, including Rescue 8, the North Huntingdon Firemen's Canteen and Mutual Aid, Greesburg.

At Jean's request, there will be no services or visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
