Jeffrey Allen Filek, 57, passed away suddenly on Friday November 17, 2023 in Conway, SC.  He was born May 2, 1966 in Pittsburgh, PA.  He was the son of the late Dr. Richard "Rudy" Filek Sr. and Frances (Icuss) Filek.

Jeff cherished his son Ashton beyond measure.  He thoroughly enjoyed and loved all his family and many friends.  He had a natural ability to connect with others and bring joy to those around him.  His smile and laughter will be sadly missed by all that loved him.

Jeff is survived by his former wife, Tonya (Newsome) Filek, and their son, Jeffrey Ashton Filek.  He is also survived by his brother, Richard Rudolph Filek Jr; niece Melissa (Filek) Cherico and her husband Vinny; nephew Rudolph Anthony Filek and his wife Amanda; great nieces Audriana Filek, Quinn Filek, Evie Filek, Nina Cherico; great nephews Enzo Cherico, Marco Cherico, Lucas Filek.

To honor Jeff's memory, a celebration of life will be in Morgantown, WV on a later date.
