Jennifer Ann Whitney White passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous four year battle with cancer. She was 51.

She was born June 24, 1972 in Cheektowaga, NY. The daughter of Ronald and Joanne Sonnenberg, she attended Barker Central School and went on to receive her respiratory therapist license from Gennessee Community College. She dedicated the rest of her life to helping others breathe easier.

In 2003 she boldly moved to South Carolina and fell in love with Myrtle Beach and all that it had to offer. She gained a second family, one of respiratory therapists and other hospital staff, and loved them all like brothers and sisters.

She was a lover of all four legged creatures and found love in her heart to share with several rescued dogs. Pugsley predeceased her in death and will share her final resting spot. Cam and Ben never left her side during her illness and loved her as much as she loved them.

During her four year battle she hit her bucket list hard traveling to California, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and New York.  Her zest for life and love for her family never waivered. She was the human being we all strive to be.

In addition to her parents she is survived by sons Brandon and Jason White, sisters Joanne Whitney and Lisa Sonnenberg, and brother John Sonnenberg as well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.

A celebration of life for Jennifer will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at Duplin Winery 4650 Highway South, North Myrtle Beach  from 4pm to 7pm. All are welcome.

After 51 years of always caring for others she can now rest in peace, awaiting those she loves, knowing that the memories she gave, and the lives she blessed, will never be forgotten.
