Jerry Duane Bashor, born September 19, 1945, a son to the late Estel Duane and Alice Smith Bashor, passed away on February 21, 2018 in Murrells Inlet. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Patsy Bashor of Hickory, NC and a niece, Tonya Bashor of Socastee. He is survived by four brothers, Harold (Rita) Bashor of Murrells Inlet, Jerome (Betty) Bashor of Murrells Inlet, Randy (Carol) Bashor of Loris and Larry (Kathy) Bashor of Socastee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Cogswell during the Vietnam era. When he wasn't working as a carpenter laborer, you could find him fishing in Murrells Inlet with his brothers where he grew up at. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Sunday, February 25 at 2 PM at Morse Landing in Murrells Inlet, SC.
