John "Butch" Curtis Davis 73, passed away at his home on Friday, August 23,2019. Mr. Davis was born January 9,1946 in Williamsburg County. The son of the late John Arthur Davis and Lilburn Perry Grier. Survivors include his wife of 54 years; Betty Powell Davis of Hemingway, three sons; Walt(Janet) Langston of Johnsonville, Johnny Davis of Hemingway, Joey(Charlene) Davis of Hemingway. Five grandchildren; Gage(Logan) Langston, Ashley(Steve) Lewis, Morgan(Kelly) Davis, Megan(Hunter) Marsh, Madison Fennell and Two great grandchildren. Three surviving brothers; Reggie Davis of Louisiana, Norman(Connie) Wagstaff of Virginia, and John Ervin Wagstaff of Florida. Mr. Davis loved hunting and spending time with his family on the lake. The family received friends at his home in Hemingway, SC.
