Johnny Scott Stewart, age 70, of Franklin, NC originally from Buford, GA passed away in the early morning hours of February 8, 2022.  Mr. Stewart was a devout Christian who loved Jesus and had a strong love for his family.  He is preceded in death by his parents: William Enlow Stewart and Lavinia Harrison Marcott.  He is survived by his daughters: Crystal (Kenneth) Barnhart of Grayson, GA and Heather (Nicolas) DuQuet of Snellville, GA.  He had two grandchildren:  Koen Barnhart and Emmy Barnhart.  Siblings: Barry (Elaine) Stewart, Susan Smith, Stephen Stewart, Robert (Beverly) Stewart.  Several nieces, nephews and cousins  also survive.  Mr. Stewart was employed by Gwinnett Daily News for many years. He enjoyed reading the bible, good music and spending time with family.  He will be forever loved and deeply missed.  Memorial service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
