Joseph Kenneth Lek, 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1946, in Passaic, New Jersey, to the late Joseph and Catherine Lek.

Joseph proudly served his country for nine years in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he embarked on a successful career in retail before retiring in Little River, South Carolina.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Deborah Lek; his sister, Loraine Molnar; and his children, Joseph Lek Jr. and wife Elizabeth Cory Lek, and Tammy Coblentz and husband Charles Coblentz.

Joseph was a proud grandfather to Joseph Lek III, Henry Lek, Owen Lek, Daniel Coblentz, Megan Stouffer, and Colby Stouffer; and a great-grandfather to Noah Stouffer. He is also remembered fondly by his best friend, Boo.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Little River American Legion, with a reception to follow immediately inside the American Legion.

Joseph will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and the warmth and kindness he shared with all who knew him.
