Joseph Ernest Walz, age 71, passed Tuesday, November 24, 2020.

Mr. Walz was born in Peekskill, NY, a son of the late Ernest and Mildred Kennedy Walz. He worked as a carpenter at the railroad for 40 years. Mr. Walz had a love for hunting and fishing. He loved to be around all his friends and family. Mr. Walz was a wonderful husband and father; if he was your friend you had a friend for life. He had a love for life and an extremely humorous attitude for any situation. Mr. Walz was so loved.

Mr. Walz is predeceased by a sister, Vicktoria Hindel.

Surviving are: His wife, Mary Joanna Walz of Conway; one son, Billy George; five daughters, Bonnie Deroma, Shereen Walz Lane of Ocala, Florida, Tracy Gida of Walden, Ann Marie Walz of Carmel, New York, Jeaninne Walz of California; Three sisters, Eileen Jackobson of North Carolina, Kathy Sharkey of Coral Springs, FL, and Patricia Depitero of Cortlandt Manor, NY; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his loyal companion, Zena.
