Myrtle Beach.......Joyce F. Harvey

Joyce F. Harvey, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born in Germany, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth W. Wood Jr and Alma E. (Hastings) Wood.

Joyce worked in the service industry, in restaurants and then health care in management her adult life prior to retirement.  In retirement she loved being by the ocean, traveling to Dollywood, watching old movies and listening to Elvis. She loved being with her "Kook-A-Boo" Peppermint Pattie and her 2 legged children.

Surviving Joyce are 1 son, Michael Jeffers- Gore (Wesley) of Myrtle Beach, 2 daughters: Cristy White of Myrtle Beach and Sherri Jeffers, aka "Junior", (Lacey) of Chattanooga, TN., 3 brothers: Kenneth Wood III, Richard Wood and Karl Wood, 1 sister, Lynda McDaniels, 6 grand children, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by a grandson Cody White.

The family will receive friends from 3 - 5 PM, Monday, January 18, 2021 at the funeral home.
