Karl G. Stone, of Myrtle Beach, SC and formerly Marlton, NJ, peacefully passed away on August 19, 2024.

Karl was born on October 6, 1936, in Camden, NJ, the son of the late Karl Stone and Marta Bretherton Stone.

Karl was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Emma E. Stone.  He is survived by their daughters Susan Rigler (James) of Marlton, NJ and Brenda Linz (Brian) of Eagle, ID.  Karl was also predeceased by their daughter Charlene Plants of Morgantown, WV and his brother George Stone of Audubon, NJ.

Karl was the proud grandfather of five grandchildren:  Rebecca Plants Loney, Patrick Plants, Megan Lindsley (Bryan), Jimmy Rigler (Alex), and Staff Sgt. Sean P. Murnighan.  He was blessed with five great-grandchildren:  Jackson Loney, Addison Loney, Morgan Lindsley, Atlas Lindsley and Rowan Lindsley.

He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Elaine Stone and Alberta Walker and his two nieces Leslie and Gwen.

Karl was a proud Marine Corp. reservist.  He spent his entire career working for RCA and GE Electric Corporation.  After retirement, Karl and Emma moved to Conway, SC enjoying their retirement years playing golf with their friends and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New Jersey
