Keith C. Ubel, 38 of Conway, SC went to be with Jesus on October 4, 2025.

Keith can finally see.

Keith has no pain.

Born in Beacon, NY on September 3,1987, Keith was the son of Kathryn A. Ubel and the late Charles N. Ubel.

Keith moved to South Carolina when he was 12 years old and attended Horry County schools. Keith loved sports and though he was born legally blind, his determination led him to play for the Carolina Forest H.S. football and wrestling teams. Keith loved being a part of Jr. ROTC at Carolina Forest High School in Myrtle Beach, SC. where he graduated in 2006. He graduated from Horry Georgetown Technical College and Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC and completed his education with a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Cooley Law in Grand Rapids, MI.  Keith was filled with compassion for others and it showed by the many close friends he had. He was always there to lend a helping hand or an attentive ear when he could. He loved to discuss politics and was great to have on your team when playing trivia. Keith loved Jesus.

Keith was preceded in death by his father Charles N. Ubel, paternal grandparents George and Ima Ubel, and maternal grandparents Peter and Betty Longobardi.

Keith is survived by is mother Kathryn A Ubel of Conway, SC, his brother Jason Ubel (Christy) of Goshen, NY, nephew and niece Drew and Kylie Rodriquez, his uncle Peter Longobardi (Kathi) of Poughkeepsie, NY and aunt Gretchen Ubel Atherton (Bill) of Madras, Oregon. Keith was also survived by his cousins Peter, Brittany and Kevin Longobardi and their children Anthony, Jaiden, Peter, Cora and Liam of New York and cousins Sarah Gram Sullivan and Joanna Gram and their children Elyse, Johanna, Beckett and Bryton of New Hampshire.  He is also survived by his dog Sccy, cats Winnie and Beretta, and many second cousins in Tennessee and New York as well as many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at Carolina Forest Community Church on October 24, 2025 at 1:30 followed by his Celebration of Life.
