It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that the family of Kristen Caroline Johnson of Conway, S.C., announces her sudden passing, at home as she slept, on July 17, 2021, at the young age of 32 years.

Born on August 30th 1988 and raised in Conway, SC; she is the youngest daughter of James Philip Johnson and the late Denise Lilly Johnson. Kristen was a 2006 graduate of Conway High School. She then attended Francis Marion University, where she thrived as a member of the Epsilon Psi Chapter of Kappa Delta, as a Greek Sister. She was also a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Conway, S.C.

Kristen will be sadly missed and forever remembered by those she leaves behind which include her devoted Daddy, James "Jimmy" Johnson and her protective older sister, Jamie (& Derrick) Brown, all of Conway S.C. She was affectionately referred to as "Kitty" by her favorite nephews and best friends, Peyton & Cannon Brown, of whom will always cherish the memories of her. Along with a very special and supportive Aunt Betty Jean Lilly, of Conway S.C. Lastly, she will be forever loved and missed by her Fiancé, Johnston Long, also of Conway, S.C. These loved ones, along with other friends and family will treasure all of the sweet memories we have with our "Gracie."

She was predeceased by her Mother, Denise "Neci" Johnson.

Kristen will be honored with a "Remembrance of Life Service," which is planned for Sunday, August 1, 2020, 7pm at the home of Betty J. Lilly, 325 D Street, Conway, S.C. Grand Strand Funeral Home & Crematory, of Murrells Inlet, is serving the family.
