Larrydale Scherer passed away September 15, 2020 at home in Myrtle Beach SC at the age of 72. He was born in Coaldale, PA and was a long time resident of Sharon Hill, PA. Beloved father of Patti Lynn Buonocore(Chris), Susan Gale Leefson(Dave), Adrienne Macker (Steve), Larrydale Jr., and numerous Grandchildren. Mr. Scherer was predeceased by his son Charles.

Left to mourn are his niece Heidi Scherer and fiancé Emily Marie (Cookie) Smith.

Larry was an Army Airborne and Vietnam Vet, a long time driver for Blue Line Trucking, and former Mummer with Crean String Band.

Larry also rebuilt cars and raced at ATCO Speedway in New Jersey and many tracks in the Northeast. He will be fondly remembered and missed by all that knew him.
