Born on May 4, 1947 in Providence, RI, to Lawrence and Irene (Parente) Houle, Larry's life was marked by his versatility and unwavering commitment to his family and community.
Larry served his country as an enlisted Navy petty officer and later forged a career in aircraft manufacturing. Throughout his life, he held various roles including welder, mechanic, commercial fisherman, electrician, maintenance mechanic, and landlord, reflecting his diverse skills and adaptability. Known as a true jack of all trades, Larry approached each endeavor with passion and diligence.
In 1979, Larry married the love of his life, Denise E. Fiske, and together they raised three daughters: Jessica (Shane) Valliere, Laurel (Brian) Simpson-Houle, and Kristin (Elijah) Ellis. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Larry's legacy extends further through his grandchildren; his four grandsons: Sean, Noah, Colson and Declan; and four granddaughters: Destiny, Caitlynne, Alyssa and Sky; all of whom he adored deeply. He also leaves behind his beloved sister Laurel (Mario) Caluori and brother William (Noreen) Houle.

Larry leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. His legacy of hard work, resilience, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by his life.
The family will hold a private ceremony and inurnment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lewey Body Dementia Foundation (https://www.lbda.org/donors/). Larry's family would like to express their gratitude to all who have shown kindness and support during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Larry. Your spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved you.
