Lena K. Lester, 74, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away on April 27th, 2017.
Lena was born on February 13th, 1943 in Carmichael, Illinois, a daughter to the late Lewis Strong and Grace Catherine Richardson. Lena was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Steven Strong of Mt. Vernon, Indiana and Denny Strong of Evansville, Indiana.
Lena is survived by a large and loving family, including her children: eldest daughter Robin Quintana of Myrtle Beach, son Douglas Scott Lester (Sondra) of Raleigh, NC and youngest daughter Debbie K. Lester of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by several grandchildren; Steven, Katie, Ashton, Cassie, Adam, Gabe and Nathan and one great-granddaughter Olivia Grace.
Lena was a member of the New Spring Church in Myrtle Beach and she spent her working career as a childcare worker. Lena will be forever remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
