Lesonly Stanley Jr, 59 years old departed this earthly life on 16 October 2016. But not without leaving a memorable impact on everyone who knew him. He was born on November 12th1956 and is the only child of the late Lesonly Stanley SR and the late Naomi Stanley. He lost his birth mother early in life but gained a loving mother when his father married the late Dorothy (Bellamy) Stanley.

As a child he attend St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal church in Little River, SC. Was a high school athlete at North Myrtle High School and was known for his lively personality, intelligence and manners.

After graduating high school Lesonly married his wife the late Carolyn (Baker) Stanley and enlisted in in the U.S. Army. Where he served as a Motor Transport Operator at Fort Huachuca AZ until he was honorably discharged as a Specialist.

Lesonly lived a complicated life but was months away from a year of sobriety at the time of his passing.

He is survived by a large loving family who will cherish his memory.

Step-Father of: LaShonda Simmons of Raleigh NC and Cheryl Johnson of Myrtle Beach SC

Grandfather to: Dominique Dillon, Marquise Dillon, Lesonly Stanley IV, Nia Stanley, Faith Stanley, Kiana Stanley, Marlon Stanley Jr.

Brother of: Terry (Larry) Shepherd and Lynn Bellamy

Nephew of: Minnie Bell Brown, Emma Lee Ellison

The cousin of many and a friend for all who knew him.
