Linda
LeBlanc
Jun 22, 1948 — Jul 20, 2026
Linda Auten LeBlanc, 78, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, passed away peacefully in her home on July 20, 2026, after a short illness. Born on June 22, 1948, in Mt. Holly, North Carolina, Linda was the eldest daughter of Fred Auten and Dorothy Adcock Auten.
Linda was loved by family and friends for her smile, her laughter, and her constant desire to make everyone around her happy. She was called “Mom” by the niece and nephew she helped raise and this meant a lot to her.
She and her husband spent their retirement years traveling in their motorhome, visiting every state and much of Canada. Linda also loved cruising and completed 23 cruises, exploring many countries and making lifelong memories along the way.
Before retiring, Linda worked as an accountant and after getting her account degree at age 40 was proud to be known as an “Awesome Accounting Ace.” Even after retirement—and right up until her passing—she continued serving small businesses as an independent accountant, offering her expertise with the same dedication she brought to everything in her life.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leonard LeBlanc, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Linda will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, and the steady way she made life better for everyone around her.
