Margaret J. Leininger, 89, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away on June 22nd, 2017.
Margaret was born Aug. 27th, 1927 in Ridgewood, NJ, a daughter to the late LeRoy & Sadie Hopper. She was also preceded in death by her husband Howard A. Leininger Sr. & son Howard A. Leininger Jr.
In life, Margaret worked as an operator for NJ Bell Telephone & Valley Hospital & later volunteered with the Glen Rock Vol. Ambulance Corp. and as an ambassador at MB Int'l Airport.
She is survived by her daughter Katherine Cenicola and son-in-law Paulof Surfside Beach, SC, her dog Hoppie, daughter-in-law Janet & granddaughter Courtney Leininger of Manahawkin, NJ, niece Barbara Feilhauers (Glenn) of Harrison, OH, nephews Robert Hopper (Joan) of West Milford, NJ & Kenneth Hopper (Sandy) of Oakland, NJ & good friends.
Donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church at 2061 Glenns Bay Road in Surfside Beach, SC 29575.
