Marian Francis Fields 90, passed away peacefully on Nov. 30th in her own home, at her kitchen table with her hands folded in her lap. Mary was originally was from the Bethesda, Annapolis area of Maryland and worked for the City of Annapolis prior to her retirement to the Grand Strand. Mary and her sister Margaret enjoyed twenty years of Myrtle Beach Sunshine and fellowship, Margaret passed away in 2012, Mary continued to live at the "the beach" with assistance from friends and caregivers. Mary was quite computer savvy and engaged the City of Myrtle Beach and local builders on issues of code compliance, she also had an extensive phone tree and kept in touch with friends from High School. Mary survived the loss of two husbands, her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by one son,two grandsons, daughter in law, four step children, numerous nieces and nephews.As per Mary's wishes her cremated remains will be scattered in the ocean.
