Mark Anthony
Gasque
April 14, 1981 – July 26, 2022
Mark Anthony Gasque was born April 14, 1981 in the Sampit community to Mrs. Kathy (Jesse) Cooper and Mr. Clyde (Belinda) Smith Jr. He was raised by his Grandmother, Linne Gasque, his beloved Ma.
He was preceded in death by his Father.
Mark received his education from Georgetown County School's and attended You Are Loved Church. He was the proud Independent Business Owner of Gasque Deliveries, LLC. He took great pride in his Murrells Inlet and Surfside communities.
Mark married Crystal, the love of his life on June 24, 2006 and together they raised four beautiful children. He was our gentle giant. His smile easily melted away fears and put hearts at ease. The span of his arms were wide and always willing to hold you up, down, or back, whatever necessary and without question. He was just there, a steady force. He wasn't just a rock. He was a boulder. Whoever you were to him, he had your back. Mark's presence was big, unmistakable, and could not easily be ignored and so the void of his absence is the same.
Mark was called home on July 26, 2022. He departed this life at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
The following remain to cherish his memories: his wife, Crystal Renea Gasque; his mother, Rev. Kathy (Jesse) Cooper; his stepmother, Belinda Deas; his children, Tierra (Kristopher) Baldwin, Isaiah (Rut) Rumley, Lexi (Marcus)Jones, and Terrence (Destiny) Rumley. His siblings, Kevin (Marie) Grant, Jesse Cooper Jr., Shaniqua Grant (BJ), Kandrick Cooper, Clarice (Byron) Ruffin, Ridge (Janee) Grant, Adrian Cooper, and Clyde (Ashley) Smith Jr. and two bonus brothers, Justin Folsom and DAngelo Gause. His grandchildren, Zion, Layla, Arianna, Trindon, Kennedy, Olivia, and KJ. His mother-in-law Martha Beam of Martinsville, VA, His brother-in-law Keevin Beam of Myrtle Beach, His sister-in-law's Connie Melton of Myrtle Beach, and Lou Carroll of Myrtle Beach, SC. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
